It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Madelaine Vonk (Whitby, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 85, on May 3, 2022. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, John and Martin; her sisters-in-law, Betty Bill and Toni Ann; and her husband Tony Vonk.
She is survived by: her children, Hetty (David Leitch) of Scarborough, Marianne Bateson (Bill) of Trenton, John Vonk (Lesia) of Blackstock, Nancy Davidson (Harold) of Manilla, Mark Vonk (Christine) of Oakwood and David (Rob) of Oshawa; her grandchildren, David (Lisa), Stephen (Megan), Lindsay (Nathan), Sara Alexandra, Ryan (Sydney), Cooper, Chloe, Maeve, Owen and Alex; her siblings, Murray van der Wyst (Susan), Hank van der Wyst (Sharon), Joe van der Wyst (Judy), Trudy van Doleweerd and Anne Keefer (Les); and her siblings-in-law, Joanne, John, Vicki, Mike, Margaret and Cor. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
The family request all guests wear a mask during visitation, service and cemetery. The Vonk family have requested that all guests wear masks for visitation and the funeral as well as the cemetery.
