She was predeceased by: her husband James Owen; and her parents, Earl Patterson and Nina Patterson of Lee Valley. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marie McWhitter of Vancouver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mabel and her family would appreciate donations in her name, to the Cancer Society to continue to find the cure and fight the strong fight against cancer.
