It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Rita Rivard (Whitby, Ontario), born in Holtyre, Ontario, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leandre Rivard; and her parents, Estelle Fortin and Philippe Fortin. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Rivard (Jennifer), Josee Rivard (Mark), Christine Rivard and Pierre Rivard (Marcy); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Christopher, Thomas, Abigail, Rebecca, George, Francesca and Natalie; her siblings, Jacqueline Fortin, Francoise Messier (Emile), Therese Spencer and Michel Fortin (Monique); and her siblings-in-law, Laurent Rivard (Mariette), Lorraine Duschesne and Lena Dumoulin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
