She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen McDonald (Norwood) and Samuel McDonald; her siblings, Edith, Norma, Jean and William; and her daughter Helen.
She is survived by: her husband William Edward Heighway; and her children, John, Bob, Gordon, Charles and Lorraine.
Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Friday July 23rd from 2:00 - 4:00 p. m. Anyone wishing to attend must register through the website.
