It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Sara Rice of Whitby, Ontario, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judith Sara Rice to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rice and Sheelagh'Sarah' Rice; and her siblings, Pauline Ann Cronjaeger and James Colin Rice. She is survived by: her husband Michael Powell; her daughter Kristin Nelson (Blair Fornwald); her stepsons, Greg Powell (Lauren Easson) and Alex Powell (Linzi Leclerc); her grandchildren, Felix, Jasper and Brianna; her brother Mark (Randa Kachkar); her siblings-in-law, David Conajaeger and Lesley Morris; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Shannon, Daniel, Henry, Fred, Cherie, Dawn-Marie and Sean.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Avalon Lounge (301 Watson St W, Whitby, ON L1N1A2).
