She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rice and Sheelagh'Sarah' Rice; and her siblings, Pauline Ann Cronjaeger and James Colin Rice. She is survived by: her husband Michael Powell; her daughter Kristin Nelson (Blair Fornwald); her stepsons, Greg Powell (Lauren Easson) and Alex Powell (Linzi Leclerc); her grandchildren, Felix, Jasper and Brianna; her brother Mark (Randa Kachkar); her siblings-in-law, David Conajaeger and Lesley Morris; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Shannon, Daniel, Henry, Fred, Cherie, Dawn-Marie and Sean.
