He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Jackson (Bessie); his wife Lillian (Louise); his father Ernest Grant Jackson; and his sisters, Minnie Dick, Edna Jackson and Jean Jackson.
He is survived by: his sons, J. Michael, Gordon (Elaine) and Grant; his granddaughters, Tina (Tim Lamont), Amanda (James McWilliam), Lisa and Laura; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Leah, Sarah, Mason and Liam; his nephew Paul Dick (Cheryl); his great-niece Lyndsay Jackson; his great-nephew Jordan Dick; and also, Lillian Jackson and Christine.
