It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna Neeltje (Joyce) Hill (Whitby, Ontario), who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gijsberta Verweij and Laurens Pieter Hoogerdyk; her sister Mary (late Stoney Cooper); her niece Lisa Cooper; and her nephew Ricky Langille.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Robert Hill (Tom); her sister Joyce; her children, Kathy (John Penny), Ted (Jacqueline Gold) and Susan (Dave Gunhouse); her grandchildren, Caitlin, Sarah and Trevor; and her siblings, Gerri (late Dave Langille), Martin (Mafalda Macaulay), Nel (late Blue Cameron) and Norman (Tammy Abbott).
Donations in memory of her extensive volunteer work would be welcomed by The Heart And Stroke Foundation of Canada. Donations are being accepted for: HEART STROKE FOUNDATION ONTARIO (HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO).
