He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Maria Melo (Dorvalino), Valdemar (Teresa) and Erisalda Rebelo; his grandchildren, Jason, Paul, Kevin, Valdemar, Kelly (Jordon), Melanie (Joao) and Chris; his great grandchildren, Matteo, Sophia, Ava, Raquel, Tiago and Boe; and his siblings, Maria Isabel, Fatima, Jose and Ernesto.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. C. Town Funeral Chapel (110 Dundas St E, Whitby, ON L1N2H7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
