Jeffrey Gordon Taber Obituary

Jeffery Gordon Taber, born May 18, 1960, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025.

Jeffery was a devoted husband to Susan and a loving father to Jessica (Marc), Michelle (Bella), Amanda (Adam), and Michelle (Jake). Beloved son of the late Fred Taber (2006) and Gertie Taber (2025). He was a cherished brother to Steve (Melanee), Charlie (Ruth Ann), Julie (Ken), and Victoria (Tom), and a proud grandfather to River, as well as to his beloved four-legged grandchildren: Dominic, Shaw, Buddie, Socks, Indo, Charlie, and George.

As a devoted uncle, Jeffery's love extended to his nieces and nephews: Sarah (Mike), Rebecca (Justin), Erin (Derek), Kate (Morgan), Jon (Jess), and Fred (Kendra) and great uncle to Sophie, Mason and Brody.

His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday March 19th, from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon. A private service will follow later with interment at Groveside Cemetery.

In memory of Jeffrey memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society of Durham Region would be appreciated.
