James Walsh Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Walsh (Whitby, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on January 3, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma and Russell; his daughter Barbara Anne; and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his brothers, Ed (Sylvia) and John (Eleanor); his children, Sandra (Don), Michael (Kelly), Susan (Wayne) and Patrick; and his grandchildren, Kyle (Jaclyn), Austin, Nick, Hailey, Tyler, Jack and Evan. He is also survived by his four children, and many grandchildren, as well as a wide circle of extended family.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (903 Giffard St, Whitby, ON L1N2S3). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, a cause close to Jim's heart.
