It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Winifred Lopes (Whitby, Ontario), who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hilda Winifred Lopes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Romeo; and her siblings, Hubert, Polo and Virginie. She is survived by: her children, Leon (late Philippa), Stephen (late Eileen), Sylvia (late Bernard), Christopher (Marlene), Gregory (late Margaret), Vicky (William), Mario (Carol), Christine (Bernie), Bryan (Jennifer) and Rose (Chuck); and her brother Romeo. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (130 Watford St, Whitby, ON L1M1H2).
