It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hendrikus Josefus Van of Whitby, Ontario, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jan (Fien), Door (Antoon), Hanneke, Piet (Annie), Gerit (Nellie) and Riet; and also, Toos and Martina.

He is survived by: his wife Maria (Riet); his children, Elisabeth (Rob), Jack (Carrie), Paul (Linda) and Jody; his grandchildren, Robert (Laura), James, Jamie, Cory, Heather, Kenny, Emma and Letty; his brothers, Wim and Cor; and his extended Van Kuik. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
