Helen Vandermeer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Vandermeer (Whitby, Ontario), who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Vandermeer; her grandson Mark; and her siblings, Gerard, John (Anne), Wilma Kryger (John), Cathy (Carl Slierings) and Sophia Hroncich (John).
She is survived by: her children, Marinus, Mary Newman (Earl), John (Alice-Faye), Gary, Carl, Greg (Tammy), Jane Mazzotta and Rick (Karen); and her siblings, Nel Jawny (late Harold), Nancy Mazzochi (late Philip) and Frank (Lynda).
We respectfully ask in lieu of flowers, to donate to the Ukrainian Red Cross Effort or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Donations are being accepted for: HEART STROKE FOUNDATION ONTARIO (HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO).
