It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franz Josef Hummel (Whitby, Ontario), who passed away on April 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elisabeth (Horst), Reinhold (Erika) and Marita. He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie; his children, Eberhard (Fiona), Barbara (Roberto), Bernadette (Robert) and Thomas (Melissa); his grandchildren, Riley, Chantal, Karsen, Eric, Max, Charlotte, Alex, Sebastian and Theodore; his siblings, Albert (Rita), Siegbert (Helene), Gebhard (Annelies) and Gero; his sibling-in-law Hans-Georg (Helen); his aunt Dete; and his cousin Rita (Hans).
