She was predeceased by: her husband Laurens Pieter "Piet" Hoogerdyk; her parents, Dingeman Adrianus Bongers and Bastiaantje Geluk; her siblings, Aagje (Johan Hessing), Pieter (Elia Hernandez), Lenie (Herman Otten), Jopie (Teunis Hoogendorp), Sabine (Aldert Vreeken), Liesbeth and Nellie (Ron Boswell); her stepdaughter Mary (late Stoney Cooper); and her grandchildren, Lisa Cooper and Ricky Langille.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce (Tom Hill), Gerri (late Dave Langille), Martin (Mafalda Macaulay), Nel (late Blue Cameron) and Norman (Tammy Abbott); and her friends, Klaas and Irena Zwiers. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
