She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelmus Vonk and Hendrika Vonk; and her siblings, Piet, Mies, Trudy, Wilhemina, Anne, Ria, Nelly and Theo.
She is survived by: her children, Jane (Don Campbell), John, Mary (Peter Menzies), Marg (Mark Lacy), Gerry (Cecilia Latorre) and Peter (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Donnie (Kait), Elizabeth (Sean), Mhairi (Steve), Catherine Campbell (John), Jordan, Justin van Hezewyk, Michael (Kate), Joseph Menzies (Brooke), Sean, Liam, Kathleen Lacy, Elise, Claire van Hezewyk, Noah (Hope), Simon, Grace van Hezewyk, Maite, Javier G. Latorre, William, Russell, Charlie, Isla and Luca; her sisters, Dinie Vanderwerf, Toni van Hezewyk and Joanne Barnes; and her sisters-in-law, Juanita Vonk, Corrie Meeulensteen, Ann Winkel, Mary Hansen, Rolande van Hezewijk, Cathy van Hezewijk, Mary van Hezewyk and Patricia van Hezewyk. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (903 Giffard St, Whitby, ON L1N2S3).
