Christopher Patrick Russell Obituary
On January 2, 2025 Christopher Patrick Russell, aged 44, passed away suddenly at home due to a stroke. Born on December 4, 1980 in Burlington Ontario, Chris worked as a computer programmer after graduating from Durham College in Oshawa. Prior to college, he graduated from Anderson CVI in Whitby where he was awarded the Governor General's Academic Medal for outstanding scholastic achievement graduating with the highest average.
Chris is survived by his parents Rick and Connie, brother Kitch (Kirbi), sister Kelly (Dan), and cherished nieces Sadie and Alice. He will be sadly missed by his Uncle Ron, Aunt Pat, his BFF cousin Michael and by the extended Russell clan.
Chris was known for his witty sense of humour, was a connoisseur of chicken wings, a grill master, a barber for his brother and Dad and he usually won the family games of Scrabble. He enjoyed watching wrestling events, playing video games, listening to heavy metal music and had a passion for the Toronto Blue Jays. The amazing characteristic about Chris was his easy going nature, pleasantness and kindheartedness. He never voiced a critical or negative word at any time about anybody or anything which was quite remarkable being a Blue Jays fan.
Following cremation, Chris will be interred at Highland Memory Gardens in Toronto at a private family ceremony.
Forever loved, he will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
