She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Bruce and Winnifred Bruce; her husband William; and her brother Robert Bruce. She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Gignac; her grandson Richard Gignac; her great grandchild Nathalie; and her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Campbell, Mary Catherine Mills, LaurieAnn Murray, Jim Murray and David Mills.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Humane Society of Durham Region, because mom always loved animals.
