Anne Banik Obituary
Anne Banik (Buben) passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2025 after having lived a full life and has gone home to be with her Lord. Anne was born on June 25th, 1927 in Slovakia and spent her 97 years loving her family and friends. She loved playing card games, cooking and watching a good mystery. Everyone was always welcome in her home.
After her family immigrated to Canada, she met and married Michael Joseph Banik and lived in Toronto, raising two children, Robert and Mary Anne. She had the joy of seeing her four grandchildren, Katherine, Suzanne, Helen and Gregory grow up and the pleasure of getting to see her five great-grandchildren Charlee, Benson, Mason, Jason and Liam.
She loved God, her family and friends and her memory will be carried well by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
Anne will be laid to rest at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
