He was predeceased by: his wife Katharina Peters. He is survived by: his children, Abram Peters (Susana), Wilhelm Peters (Margaret), Jacob Peters (Tina), David Peters (Katharina), Eva Martens (Jacob), Tina Peters (Abe), Anna Peters and Johan Peters (Mary). He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
