She was predeceased by: her children, Johan Elias, Margaretha Elias, Jacob Elias (Martha) and Abram Elias; and her parents, Johan Friesen and Margaretha Friesen.
She is survived by: her husband Abram Elias; and her daughters, Helena Sawatzky (late Ben), Katharina Elias and Maria Harder (Johan). She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
