She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Huls and Agnes Huls (Vander Stelt); her children, Rashelle Aukema, Samantha MacKew (Mark) and Kevin Aukema (Alyssa); her granddaughter Amelia Alice Aukema; and her siblings, Charlie Huls and Albertina Praamsma (Louis).
Donations can be made in memory of Janette to the Chatham Hospice or the Windsor Dr. Y. Emara Palliative Care Centre, where she received exceptional care.
