He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katharina Redekop; his children, Abe, Lisa Redekop, Isaak, Mary Redekop, John, Margaret Redekop, George Kroeker, Jacob Redekop, Helen, Henry Teichroeb, Peter and Susie Redekop; his grandchildren, George, Margaret Kroeker, Jake, Martha Kroeker, Tina, Frank Krahn, Rebecca Kroeker, Julia, Peter Reimer, Melissa, Jacob Klassen, Jaden Redekop, Danny, Susie, Johnny Wall, James Redekop, Nathan Redekop, Selena, Buddy Ranchuk, Thomas Redekop, Tiffany Redekop, Nancy, Billy, Jasmine Teichroeb, Micheal Teichroeb, Kevin Teichroeb, Derek Redekop, Adam Redekop, Spencer Redekop and Aliza Redekop; and his great grandchildren, Sammy Kroeker, Becca Kroeker, Stella Kroeker, Sadie Kroeker, Calvin Krahn, Casey Krahn, Kayla Redekop, Greyson Redekop, Zander Redekop, Jaxson Wall, Hunter Wall, Colton Wall, Scotti Ranchuk, Miles Ranchuk, Raelynn Friesen, Blakely Friesen and Christopher Klassen. He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, extended family.
