He was predeceased by: his son John Hildebrandt. He is survived by: his wife Judith Unger (Groening); and his children, Jacob Giesbrecht, Henry, Cornelius, Nettie Unger, Margaretha Unger, Sara, Franz, Anna Knelsen, Helena Neudorf and Judith. He is also survived by 44 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
