She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Sampson; her brothers, Clarence Fanning, Florence Porceillo (Jim), Curtis Fanning and John Fanning (Marie); and her parent Joseph William.

She is survived by: her siblings, Paul Fanning, James Fanning (Grace), Evelyn Fanning, Robert Fanning (Carol) and Basil Fanning; and her parent Caroline Christine Fanning. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
