He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Laderoute and Irene Laderoute of Westmeath, ON.; his wife Judith Thompson; his niece Jennifer Everly; and his nephew Chad Thompson.

He is survived by: his daughter Julie Laderoute (Kourosh Khosravi); his grandchild Nahum Khosravi of Deep River, ON.; his sisters, Sharon Chaput (Westmeath) and Janis Frank of Kirkland Lake, ON; his brothers-in-law, Durrell Chaput of Westmeath, ON and Patrick Thompson (Darlene) of Whitehorse, Yukon.; and his nieces and nephews, Terran, Devin Chaput, Sean Thomas, Tracey Bergermann and Christie Thompson. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
