It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elam M. J. Martin of Westmeath, Ontario, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia Martin; his son Henry Martin; his siblings-in-law, Minerva Martin and Enos Martin; his parents, Jonas Martin and Amanda Martin; and his foster parents, Austin Snyder and Lucinda Snyder.
He is survived by: his children, Harvey, Melinda Martin of Westmeath, Nancy, Levi Weber of Wallenstein, Lena, Edwin Martin, Martha Martin, Jonas and Anna Martin; his siblings, Enos Martin of Drayton and Barbara Martin of Elmira; his stepbrother Reuben Bauman (Hannah) of Drayton; and his extended family, Jonas Martin, Line and R. R.. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 71 great-grandchildren.
