He was predeceased by: his child Yancy; his siblings, Charlie and Margo; and his parents, Wilbrod Bégin and Germaine Bégin.

He is survived by: his close friend Wendy; his child Darcy (Adele); his grandchildren, Quenton, Jocelyn and Melissa Hasen (Mike); his great grandchildren, Austin, Karlie, Lexie and Chantelle Stelwagen (Jack); his stepchild Sharie St. Denis; his stepgrandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Kristen and Brandon; his stepdaughter Terri Pye (Nathan); his stepgrandchildren, Alex and Taylor; his sisters-in-law, Alice and Julie; and also, Jacob and Cameren.
