Wesley Sloan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Sloan (West Lorne, Ontario), who passed away on November 16, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent John Russell Sloan. He is survived by: his spouse Fern Sloan (Cummings); his children, Heather, Cotton, Beth McLandress (Bob), Carol Swick (Paul), Lisa and Simmons; his grandchildren, April Dyck (Brian), Ryan McLandress (Luke Baxter), Wesley McLandress (Bethany), Ashley Swick and Sean Swick; his great grandchild Gemma McLandress; his parent Sarah Ethelene (Schleihauf); his sister Yvonne Collyer; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Hopkins and Jean Buttinger; and his siblings, Wanita Webster (Mac), Gwen Campbell (Cecil), Bill Sloan (Jean), Jean Zimmerman (Doug), George Sloan (Cela) and Jim Collyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Wes always said, "flowers are for the living not the dead", so in keeping with his wishes, memorial donations may be made to the West Lorne Baptist Church, Babcock Community Care Centre or the charity of your choice.
