He was predeceased by: his son Jon Verbrugghe; his sister Mary Jeavons; and his parents, Jan Verbrugghe and Anna. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Justin Verbrugghe and Monique Verbrugghe (Kevin Clark); his grandchildren, Brooke Trybel, Reese and Marshall Weekes; and his siblings, Edna Lee and Paul Verbrugghe (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
