He is survived by: his wife Frieda Goncalves (Swoboda); his children, Edward Goncalves (Victoria) of Toronto and Christina Stuart (Scott) of London; his grandchildren, Georgia, Dron, Rooney and Dash; his siblings, Manuel Goncalves (Elvira), Bill Goncalves (Karen) and Arminda Dias (Manuel); and his siblings-in-law, Rosemarie Vandenbrink (Jerry), Frank Swoboda (Margaret), Margaret Phillips (Patrick) and Tiberio Couto.
