He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Thomson and Verna. He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Thomson; his children, Dale Thomson (Betty), Sherry Thomson (Peter Wiles) and Cindy Campbell (Mike); his grandchildren, Rob Thomson (Heather), Pete Thomson (Stephanie), Jennifer Lee (Terry), Shaun Arvai, Justina Marques (Ricardo) and Scott Campbell (April); his great grandchildren, Addyson Lee, Nolan Lee and Haylie Marques; and his sister Shirley Lyons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
