He is survived by: his spouse Lori Rees; his daughter Gerri Donoghue of Nova Scotia; his parents, Fred and Gladys; his siblings, Fred (late Sharon), Wayne (late Jean), Dean (Wanda), Judy Parrell (Jim), Debbie Abbott (Frank) and Irene Richard (Denis); his siblings-in-law, Millicent Holwell (Ronald) and Charles Wheadon (Stella); and his brother Fraser. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations made to the Ontario Lung Association (COPD) would be greatly acknowledged.
