He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Greer and Kay Greer; and his brother Norman Greer. He is survived by: his children, Kelly (Nelson), Carolyn, Jim (Julie) and Deb; his grandchildren, Katie (Josh), Matt, Megan, Braeden, Garrett, Taylor and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Eve, Hannah, Chase and Natasha; and his sister Marilynne (Cliff).

“I would like to pass along my sincerest sympathy to Don's family. I worked with Don at St. Anne's Festival (I think Don was one of the founding members) and sang bass with him in the choir. He was always a joy to be around. I also knew his brother Norm when I was growing up in Aylmer. Although I haven't seen him since he left St. Thomas, I have often thought about him. I'm sorry I found out too late to attend his funeral. Had I know, I certainly would have been there. Regards Case Hoffer”
