He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Yateman and Charles Yateman; and his brother Lorne. He is survived by: his sons, Curtis (Sherry) and Derek; his grandsons, Eric and Ethan; his siblings, Jackie (Keith) and Shayne (Amy); and his mother-in-law Shirley Sisson.
