He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh and Dorothy; and his sister Heather Henry. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Davies; his children, Sheri-Lynn O'Toole, Jodi Burgess (Jamie) and Brent; his grandchildren, Natalie, Gracie and Jared; his brother Michael Davies (Kathryn); and his nieces and nephews, Megan, Joey and Allison. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In Lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations be made in Hugh's memory to Hospice Prince Edward.
