Gena Nelson Obituary

We bid farewell to Gena Nelson (Wellington, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 4, 2024 at the age of 88. Gena touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Bailey and Mabel Bailey; and her siblings, Phyllis, Ronnie and Barbara.

She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her children, Rick, David (Lisa), Mark and Jennifer (Ken Johnston); her grandchildren, Christine, Pamela, Kara, Jordan, Jesse and Dustin; and her sisters, Margaret and Beverley.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ainsworth Funeral Home (288 Noxon Ave, Wellington, ON K0K3L0). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church (244 Wellington Main St, Wellington, ON K0K3L0).
