He was predeceased by: his former wife Jopie Ponsen. He is survived by: his wife Emmy Ponsen; his children, Frances Egerton (Doug) and Jackie Martin (Dave); his stepchildren, Marion Meyer, Jos Meyer, Lucy van den Bosch (Cees) and Petra Gunterman (Marcel); and his siblings, Piet Ponsen (Jane), Hans Ponsen (Derkga) and Lida (Hodse) of Vries. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
