Fern Louise Root Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025, Fern Louise Root (Wellington, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Fern Louise's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Fern Louise's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her parents, Allan Davis and Ethel Davis; her brother Russell; and her close friend Ron Benway.

She is survived by: her children, Jill Markland (Paul) of Trenton, Rosalie Root (Bill) of Castlegar, B. C., Cameron Root (Sandra) of Wellington and Victor Root (Marilyn) of Wellington. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Fern's memory to the M.S. Society or The Wellington Storehouse Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
