He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Gudrun; his brother Henri; his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Steven; and his grandson Andre Louis.

He is survived by: his wife Arline Mary; his children, Marie Louise, Michael Henri (Yvonne) and Jean Edmond (Laura Linda); his grandchildren, Charles Michael, Marc Edmond, Julie Anne, Michelle Lys (David), Braeden John, Katja Mangan and Quinn Brideau Rudy; his great grandchildren, Caroline, Daniel, Colin, Jack, Liam and Dylan; and his sister Amelie.
