He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Brant and Rose Brant; and his sister Gloria Stone (Doug). He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Brant (Cluting); his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Sheryl Brant; his grandchildren, Zachery Brant (Tory) and Tessa Brant (Matt Gilbert); and his siblings, Elinor Andrews and Harris Brant (Laurel). He is also survived by nephews, extended family and friends.
