He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Ropp and Sarah Ropp (Wagler); his sisters, Tillie Kennel, Laura Noll and Eva Arnold; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Woinoski, Ruth Yantzi, Leo Noll, Art Woinoski, Jerome Arnold, Donald Brenneman, Nelson Yantzi and John Kuepfer (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ropp (Brenneman); his sons, Brian (Donna) of Tavistock, Roger (Evelyn) of Wellesley and Mark (Elizabeth) of Innerkip; his grandchildren, Jessica, Kristin, Alison and Dylan; and his siblings, Norm Ropp (Mary Ann), Katie Kuepfer and Al Kennell (Jeannette Brenneman). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
