He was predeceased by: his father Charles Sabourin; and his siblings, Adele, Jean, Leona, Leon, Gerald, Rene, Alice and Michael.
He is survived by: his spouse Eveleen Sabourin; his children, Patricia Cosgrove (Lorne), Gerald Sabourin and Cathy McCartney (Randy); his granddaughters, Cara, Meagan, Leanne and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Katrina, Myles, Olivia, Abby, Leia, Penelope and Rhys; and his siblings, Anita, Denis, Pauline, Louis and Edmond.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B3Z8). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Église St-Vincent-De-Paul de North Bay (1265 Wyld St, North Bay, ON P1B2A9).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Covenant House would be gratefully acknowledged by Wilfrid's family.
