Pietro DeDonato Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pietro DeDonato (Welland, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Mary (James) and Angela; his daughter-in-law Clara; his grandchildren, Peter, Vanessa, Andrea, Steven, Andrew and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Seth, Karter and Alexander; his siblings, Elvira Leonetti (Pietro) of Toronto and Ottavio (Teresa) of Italy; his wife Giuseppina "Rita"; his son Frank; and his siblings, Mario DeDonato (Rachele) of Welland and Rosina DeLuca (Gaetano) of Italy. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Welland, ON L3C5A4). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Hope Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
