Nellie Laginski Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Laginski (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on August 4, 2024 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nellie Laginski to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fortushniok and Mary Fortushniok (Kohut); her husband Sylvester Laginski (Steve); and her siblings, William, John (Jack), Walter, Joseph, Anthony, Michael, Alexander Fortushniok, Sophie Tucker and Olga Gregor.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Engert (Frank), Philip Laginski (Laurie) and Natalie Hanna (Mark); her grandchildren, Michael Engert (Sarah), Bryan Engert, Meghan Hanna (Ian), Patrick Hanna, Matthew Gillingham (Patricia) and Kevin Gillingham (Anna); and her sister-in-law Marie Mercer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
