She was predeceased by: her father Wendell Grant (Ida); and her husband Ronald Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Peggy Peckitt; her sons, Troy and Rory; her daughter-in-law Ashley; her granddaughter Rayah Soper; her siblings, Debbie Holmes and Richard Grant; her niece Shannon Holmes Casey Holmes (Dan Zavitz); her nephews, Jamie Holmes, Jason, Richard and Johnathon Grant; and her pet Max.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Port Colborne Yacht Club.

Donations can be made in Nancy's honour to the Canadian Cancer Society.
