He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford McCumber and Geraldine McCumber; his siblings, Linda and Bill; his nephew Christopher White; and his brother-in-law Paul White.

He is survived by: his children, Bradley McCumber and Brianne Wheaton; his sister Mary Lou White; his niece Jennifer Gosselin (Dan); his great-niece Celia Gosselin; his son Michael; his grandchild Conner; and also David Thornton.
