Leonard Ivan Pilon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard Ivan Pilon (Welland, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Mike Pilon; his sisters, Anita Pilon and Anne Lemay; his parents, Ralph Pilon and Beatrice Pilon; and his brother-in-law Marcel Loiselle (George Lemay).
He is survived by: his wife Madelaine Pihach; his children, Tim Pilon (Cheryl) and Tracy Fasan (Paul); his stepchildren, Karey Taylor (Mark) and Amy Becken (Bob); his grandchildren, Shelby, Carli, Spencer, Kyle, Zachary, Kirsten, Brianna, Emily, Jayden and Myah; his great grandchildren, Briar, Connor and Colby; his sisters, Joyce Kukoly (Andy), Linda Loiselle (John) and June St (Reg); and his friend Patterson.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community Parish of St. Kevin (303 Niagara St, Welland, ON L3C1K5). Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence (19 Young St, Welland, ON L3B4C5).
Memorial donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or Canadian Lung Association.
