John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Margaret [Maggie]; his parents, Victor Paquin and Marguerite Paquin; and his siblings, Victor, Marcel, Michael Paquin, Diane Dobsi and Louise Lewchuk.
He is survived by: his daughter Cora Paquin; the mother of his child Paula; his sons, Jacob Johnston (Tiffany) and Cory Johnston; his grandchildren, Haley Labbe and Jared Peng; and his siblings, Colette Asselin, Lucille Popp, Irene Sauve, Rachelle Paquin, David Paquin and Normand Paquin (Lynn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welland Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (827 E Main St, Welland, ON L3B3Y8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Welland Funeral Home Chapel (827 E Main St, Welland, ON L3B3Y8).
