He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Horvath and Julia Horvath; and his sister Janice Jones. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his sister Jane DiZio (Fred); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Ventress, Ron Woolacott, Elmer Smith (Ann), Ken Woolacott (Cathy) and Ron Jones. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
